Penicuik House is the first stop before heading to Silverburn. A traverse to the col between the hills of Scald Law and Carnethy will afford us panoramic views of Midlothian and beyond. and Romans
10am-5pm • 10 miles
Following in a host of historic footprints we head from the village of Temple via the wooded valley of the River Esk to Gore Glen. We then rise to the Camp ridge, with spectacular views over the Forth and head towards D’Arcy Farm, returning via Edgehead to Vogrie for a cuppa.

How Much??
Total Cost = 4 nights B&B for 2 people = £352
                   4 Guided Walks = Free!!
Total = £352
Conclusion:
£176 for a 4 nights and 4 guided walks in this beautiful region is very good value. The programme looks great, could maybe have a longer walk/challenge on one day but aprt from that, its an excellent way to see this great walking region.

 We will do the next walking festival on the Boheh Stone Walking Festival, climbing Croagh Patrick on the West coast of Ireland.
